When I started working with Max, I was in a tough place both physically and mentally. I’d just graduated, was recovering from a torn ACL that had forced me to stop playing rugby, and was unknowingly living with a hormonal condition. I’d gained weight, turned to food for comfort, and was struggling to get medical support, often dismissed by doctors because of my weight.
I knew I needed a change. A friend recommended Max, and two years later, I haven’t looked back.

With his support I've altered my mindset towards my personal fitness goals, setting myself manageable personal goals and seeing the rewards for my efforts. Max stood out because of his qualifications and experience and I wanted a change. He regularly changed my programmes, depending on my current goals, which kept things interesting.
With a lack of control of my left foot due to a birth defect, Max tweaked an exercise in order for it to be done correctly and hit the right muscles safely.

Four years later, and still with Max, the biggest change for the school sports hater is that I enjoy daily exercise for all its physical and mental benefits.

I started personal training sessions with Max last year, because I wanted to lose weight and learn how to train properly and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done!
Before I started I would eat out 3 times a week, plus go out socialising on weekends. The only time I would diet, was if I needed a quick fix for an event or occasion.

Max has educated me on how to have a healthy lifestyle rather than following fad diets, with also teaching me how to train properly in the gym.
Max has also helped me to stay motivated and focused so I can achieve my goals and I can’t thank him enough. A year on and I am happier, healthier and still motivated to achieve my goals. All because of Max’s encouragement.

Max is the most genuine person and an amazing PT. He very quickly changed my whole outlook on life. Max is so calm and cares about his clients. He very quickly gave me the confidence to walk into the gym and follow a structured programme in-between PT sessions and he is always available to offer advice, support and words of encouragement.

Max works at my pace and never makes me feel uncomfortable. In the first 9 months I lost 2 stone and achieved a level of fitness and strength that I never thought possible.
